Go to Internet Bill βOne Place to Check Every Utility Bill in Pakistan
Gas, electricity, water and internet all run on separate portals, each with its own form and its own idea of what to call your account number. We keep the routes to all of them in one place β free, no registration, and working on a budget phone.
Which Number Does Your Utility Actually Need?
Almost every failed bill check in Pakistan comes down to the same mistake: entering the right number in the wrong format, or the wrong number entirely. No two utilities use the same one.
| Utility | What to enter | Printed on your bill as |
|---|---|---|
| Sui Gas β SNGPL | 11 digits β Consumer Number | Account ID |
| Sui Gas β SSGC | 10β11 digits β Consumer Number | Customer Number |
| Electricity β WAPDA DISCOs | 14 digits β Reference Number | Reference No. |
| Electricity β K-Electric | 11 digits β Account Number | Account No. |
| Water β WASA | Consumer Number, format varies by city | Consumer / Connection No. |
| Internet β PTCL & ISPs | Landline number or Account ID | Account / Customer ID |
Electricity bills in Pakistan use a 14-digit reference number. Gas bills use an 11-digit consumer number. Same household, two utilities, two completely different formats β so the number that works on one portal returns nothing on the other. If a lookup fails and you are certain the digits are correct, check the length before you check anything else.
Most WAPDA distribution companies also accept a 10-digit Customer ID as an alternative. Gas portals accept nothing but the consumer number β no CNIC, no name, no meter number, no address.
Detailed walkthroughs are available for each utility β sui gas bill online check, electricity bill check online, WASA bill check online and internet bill check.
Which Company Supplies Your Area
Enter a correct number on the wrong company’s portal and you get an empty result, not an error message. This is the second most common reason a check fails.
| Company | Utility | Region served |
|---|---|---|
| SNGPL | Gas | Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad, AJK |
| SSGC | Gas | Sindh and Balochistan |
| LESCO | Electricity | Lahore, Kasur, Sheikhupura, Nankana Sahib |
| FESCO | Electricity | Faisalabad, Jhang, Sargodha, Mianwali, Chiniot |
| GEPCO | Electricity | Gujranwala, Sialkot, Gujrat, Narowal, Hafizabad |
| IESCO | Electricity | Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Attock, Jhelum, Chakwal |
| MEPCO | Electricity | Multan, Bahawalpur, D.G. Khan, Sahiwal, Vehari |
| PESCO | Electricity | Khyber Pakhtunkhwa |
| TESCO | Electricity | Merged tribal districts |
| HESCO | Electricity | Hyderabad and southern Sindh |
| SEPCO | Electricity | Sukkur and northern Sindh |
| QESCO | Electricity | Balochistan |
| K-Electric | Electricity | Karachi and adjoining areas |
Water is handled city by city through the local WASA authority, and internet billing runs per provider. Both are covered on their own dedicated pages.
Find Your Provider by City
Most people know their city, not their company code. Here is the reverse lookup for the largest urban areas.

Four Things Worth Knowing Before You Check Anything
Your number never changes
A consumer number, reference number or account number belongs to the connection, not the month. Save it once and you will never hunt for a paper copy again.
Reference is not consumer
On gas these are two different things β one permanent, one regenerated every cycle. On electricity the reference number is the permanent one. Confusing them is why lookups fail.
Payments post in 24β48 hours
A bill you have already paid can still show outstanding for two working days. Keep the transaction ID and wait before paying again.
Late charges are real money
Every utility prints a higher figure for payment after the due date. On gas that surcharge sits at roughly ten percent. Checking early costs nothing.
What We Do, and What We Don’t
What we do
- Tell you which number your utility needs before you waste a form submission on the wrong one
- Route you to the correct official portal for your provider and region
- Explain what the charges on your bill actually mean, in plain language
- Keep it working on a slow connection and a small screen
What we don’t
- We are not affiliated with SNGPL, SSGC, any DISCO, K-Electric, WASA, OGRA, NEPRA or the Government of Pakistan
- We do not store your consumer number, reference number or any billing data
- We do not process payments β every payment happens on your bank, wallet or the utility’s own channel
- We do not ask you to register, install an app, or hand over a phone number

Common Questions
Which number do I need to check my bill?
It depends on the utility. Gas needs an 11-digit consumer number, WAPDA electricity companies need a 14-digit reference number, K-Electric uses an 11-digit account number, and internet providers usually use your landline number or account ID. The table above lists all of them.
Can I look up a bill using my CNIC?
No. No major Pakistani utility supports retrieval by CNIC, name, meter number or address. You need the connection’s own identifier. If you have lost every copy, contact the utility’s helpline with your CNIC and service address and they can look it up for you.
Is billwale.pk free?
Yes, entirely. There is no charge, no account, no app and no premium tier.
Is this an official government website?
No. Billwale.pk is an independent directory. All billing data, verification and payable amounts live on the utilities’ own systems, and we link you there directly.
Can I pay my bill through this site?
No. Pay through your bank app, JazzCash, Easypaisa, an ATM utility menu, a bank counter or a 1Bill channel β each asks for the same identifier you used to check the bill.
My number is correct but nothing loads. What now?
Check the digit count against the table above, then confirm you are on the right company for your region. Those two account for most failures. If both are correct, the official portal is likely under load β common near due dates. Wait a few minutes and try again.
Who runs this. Billwale.pk is built and maintained in Pakistan by a small independent team. We started it after getting tired of hunting through nine different utility portals every month, each asking for a different number in a different format. Everything on this page is written and checked by hand against the official sources.
Independence. Billwale.pk is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by any utility company or government authority in Pakistan. Tariffs, procedures and identifier formats are set by the utilities and their regulators and change periodically β always treat your latest bill and the official portal as authoritative.
